Some weeks ago Microsoft added support for the Lumia Icon to the Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview program.
At the time it was not clear if this will ever result in an official release of the OS update for the handset, but it seems all the waiting has not been in vain.
On Verizon’s support site there is now evidence that a software update is on the way for the Lumia Icon as soon as tomorrow.
The listing shows the Lumia Icon’s “last update” as June 23, 2016, with Verizon offering a support site for the update here.
