Windows 10 Mobile is far from over and this can be evidenced by the fact that the second most used messaging app – Facebook Messenger – has yet to be fully available for use on this platform.
Although this has been coming, it has taken quite some time before finally showing up on the Microsoft-owned mobile OS. However, it is better late than never. As it seems, Facebook has begun pushing this application to Windows 10 Mobile devices and it is now available via the official Store.
Interestingly, the new Facebook Messenger for Windows 10 Mobile app has been ported from the official Messenger for iOS app. What this means is that you will find almost all features available on the Apple platform when you download and install this version on your Windows 10 Mobile. You will be able to use GIFs and stickers as well as access features such as nicknames, editing group information, push notifications, live tile support and so on. In short, you will be able to access and use all the basic features of Messenger on your Windows 10 Mobile.
One thing you need to keep fresh in your mind is that the new Facebook Messenger for Windows 10 Mobile is not the stable version – it is still in beta. As a result, you may encounter some unstable performances and bugs that may turn you off. Well, don’t be turned off as this is usual with beta versions of any application.
